I don't like the changes that are being made to dropping items though. I see that it's necessary but it just dosen't make sense.
"You watch the greater demon slaughter the man in full addy, but upon his death his armor is no longer visible while the random bucket he just happened to be holding is.
I mean, come on.
I really think they ruined the trading system to. Now we can't just help out friends by loaning them stuff.
I like the fact that they at least had the consideration to give us something to make up for all this stupidity, but that still dosen't justify the stupidity in the first place.

heh. it'd stop something that happened to me once. I lent a friend a set of Black armor so he could do a Members quest and he never gave it back. he forgot I knew his password, so I took it back a year later (with interest) and he threatened to report me. If this was there at the time he'd never have got it.

Wilderness is screwed up. The only good thing this update did was making team capes and duel arena f2p.

Aparantly they are going to keep the wildy dangerous by using Uber monsters. But I really wonder, all the monsters to date move at walking speed. What's to say we can't just outrun 'em?
EDIT: And yes the dual arena is awesome. By the way, if you miss old wildy you could just go to Bounty Hunting.
EDIT X2: And the coal industry got screwed over. Now that prices are regulated, they won't be able to earn anything. Oddly enough, ashes sell instantly at the grand exchange.

what is to say we can't outrun them? these guys can Freeze and Teleblock. reason enough?
Duel Arena rocks, though I've only done one staked duel (and won it, though the guy I was fighting could hit higher than me) so far. throwing Tomatoes is great, pity it doesn't give you ranging EXP or I'd level to 50 with it.

haha yea... well there are clan wars in the lvl 20 wild a little north of the chaos altar but you don't get anything if you win -.- so um yea.... also i'm a f2p (nonmember) so i don't get all the stuff you guys get...eh w/e it was all too big for me to take in when i was a mem for 1 month

I'm acually pleasantly surprised. This stuff has existed and has been members only for quite a while. I never thought Jagex would give free players access. As for the clan wars, I'm not much for combat myself. However, I could supply you guys with cooked lobsters for free. There is, in fact, a benefit to having level 52 fishing. Yeah fishing is cool.
