Yes, they do. Every horse but Shadowmere can be killed. If they take a high jump or get attacked too many times, thye will die. Shadowmere will only go unconcious. You can heal your horse if you have the correct spell.

Thread Revivification Spell!
But yeah, I just got this game. If you haven't played it, you haven't lived yet.
I'm playing a mage, specialising in conjuration and to a lesser extent destruction.
Heh, I think I overtrained my conjuration a bit. I'm level 12 and my conjuration skill is 93. 7 more levels until I can summon dremora lords! I'm doing the mages guild quests, but I keep getting sidetracked.
I'm playing my character like he's lawfull good. No murder, no stealing. My brother's thief is the opposite.
Anybody want to talk about your exploits, or was I wearing to much armor and failed my thread revive spell?

No, but you DID get attacked by some guy wearing full Daedric (sp?).
I haven't played it personally, but one of my friends did something weird with a construction set, I think. He made a ring that summoned a ton of near-unstoppable monsters, massacred an entire town then got killed when they ran out of targets >_>

Yeah I generally stay out of trouble, but my brother gets himself into some funny stuff.
This one time, he got bored of stealing from shops in the imperial city and decided to steal from a house. So he picks the lock, opens the door and right in front of him is a dog. It starts barking; he bails.
Good times....
