the best mmorpg would have to have, it think are (not all these are mmorpgs) 1. chooseable races and classes (WoW) 2. total charater cutomisation (guild wars) 3.total feel of deciosion (fable) 4.occuping tasks, but not same-old-same-old (runescape)(i CANNOT belive i just said that!!!) 5. arena and pvp team or one on one options (guild wars) 6.rare equiptment (aq) 7.no over the top wierdo or creepy 'help creatures' (like no moglins, moogles or things that look as though they came out of a childs cartoon) 8. player-made clan options (guld wars or online resistance: FoM) 9.unique battle system (final fantasy 12) 10. many-a-choice of weapon, spell, armour stuff like that. (aq) Sorry, I'll have to add to that. MapleStory: Pros (Things to be added) Much more player interaction, actual player shops, wide range of classes/jobs, choice of armours, weapons, shields, HELMETS!, accessories, different servers and channels, player guilds, pet EQ's, good graphics, QUESTS Cons (Things to leave out) Cash Shop, Pets that don't do anything, GMs that are too lazy to run the game -------------------------------------------------------------------------- BOTS Pros Choice of bot; again, you can choose your armours and things, actual ranged weapons with AMMO, player guilds, in-game contests (as in announcing it in-game, in-game prizes, like trans packs and whatever), 2x EXP and Gigas/Gold/WHATEVER events, Boss item drops, transformation ability, items to boost stats, 3-D, player trade system and PVP as well. Also, GREAT graphics. Cons Again, cash items. Storyline wasn't that good either. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- FlyFF I haven't played this game much, but I know a few things. Pros More than one environment to explore, like special event locations, the ability to fly, etc., again, 3-D environment, different viewpoints, male/female gender, nice storyline, good graphics. Cons "The problem is they don't care that they've ruined our version. We're the Stupid Non-Koreans, as long as somebody's paying money, they have no reason to treat us fairly or to fix anything. ", CASH items. There, I've added everything I needed to say.

They didn't neglect the American version of FlyFF, on the contrary. They pay very close attention to it. The problem is they don't care that they've ruined our version. We're the Stupid Non-Koreans, as long as somebody's paying money, they have no reason to treat us fairly or to fix anything.

I wish I was making it up, but if you'd been around for the pet fiasco in FlyFF last year, you'd know I wasn't. I had intimate knowledge and experience with it, I'd been playing it the better part of a year. Long enough to know that the Korean company in charge was willingly and purposefully ruining their game to extract more and more cash out of us.

Are you old enough to sue? I mean, WTF is the Glitch Island, W(hy)TF is it there, WTF is its purpose if there's no freaking events on it! God!

Glitch Island is left over from development. It was never meant to be reachable. The developers refuse to remove it since it has no impact on gameplay.
Internation players: "But it causes bugs and gli-"
Developers: "IT HAS NO IMPACT ON GAMEPLAY!"
The pet fiasco went like this: For months, this is what the GMs were telling us: "Pets will be available in-game, buyable from in-game NPC vendors, for in-game money." Now keep in mind that in all other versions of the game, this had been true. kFlyFF, phFlyFF, etc. The day of the Big Update rolls around. Everyone is STOKED about pets. We're all WAITING for the servers to come back up so we can log in and get our awesome pets. Five minutes passes. We all have pets. We're all loving it. They're so CUTE! Server comes down with no warning. An hour later, we get this from the GMs: "We're sorry, but we make a mistake. Pets will be cash shop items. You will have to pay real money for them. The vendors are being removed, and anyone who purchased a pet will have it deleted from their inventory. You will not be refunded your in-game currency for the price of the pet. However, to make up for the confusion on our end, we're offering a three-dollar discount on the pets - you can get them for 16.99 but only for today!"
And the thing is, in the International (English) version of FlyFF, they CONSTANTLY do this. They skip and leave out big in-game events that every other version got. Instead of letting us take part in the event and earn Event Rewards for ourselves, like all the other versions, they just skip the event and put the rewards in the cash shop, and make us buy them with real money. All development on the game has, effectively, stopped. The only new content being added is being added to the cash shop. They currently released a new version of the game, yes, but it has severe issues with the new skill system - You see, the developers give all the classes the same amount of Skill Points. The problem is some classes - like Mage and Elementor/Psykeeper - have TONS and TONS of skills, and don't get enough skill points to even LEARN most of their spells now, much less master them. As a result the entire Mage and even Assist line of classes has been rendered totally useless. There are, currently, no plans from the developers to change this. The GMs are having to push them but even the GMs warn that there are no current plans to change it and it will be a long time before the developers listen to them - if they do at all.
