Recently there has been an influx of people double posting, spamming, and posting unappropriate content. This is not going to be tolerated. If you are going to post write something that pertains to the subject and that contributes to the conversation. A post that simply contains "lol wut!?" is not tolerated (This includes the General Topic Boards (i.e Bob and George) as well). Consider this an official warning to every member here. Failure to obey the rules can and will result in a ban (temp or perm). I have been far too lenient and will not allow this anymore.

All we ask of you in exchange for posting on these message boards is a small amount of respect: Respect for the rules and especially for our amazing moderators who keep the boards clean and welcoming to healthy, mature discourse. We are not asking for much. The rules are for the most part common sense, and merely ask for the very basics of courtesy. Follow them and you may discover that they will be of use to you later on in life.

That said, this is just a reminder to all of you to refrain from double posting, (edit your previous post instead) spamming, (a waste of time for everyone) useless posts, (even more of a waste of time) posting inappropriate content, (it WILL offend someone) and bad-talking anyone, members and staff members alike. Ithious has told you the consequences, and any punitive actions taken by him or any other staff member will be fully backed by myself and the rest of the UAQ team.

So think twice before you press that "post reply" button, and hopefully we'll be on our way to a more enjoyable forum experience for all.

Back to the point of this post.

Being a former ubermod, and having used dial up in the past, I have advice for those with the blight known as "AOL." If you press post reply, and get the "IE cannot display this page" Do not go back and hit the button again unless you are sure it didn't post. This is where a lot of double/triple posting comes from. I don't know if proboards fixed this problem yet, but it's happened to me two or three times in the past on my friends comp. And he has AOL. And it sucks. A lot. ^_^
