It's special because the damage it deals is Void damage, which works exactly the same as Element X damage.

As with all pets that have multiple attacks, the shop gives the damage of the rarer multiple-hit attack. BVD usually does a single hit for like 6-19, or something. Occasionally it'll swing for 6-19x2, or 12-38.
Berethor: What's your character's Sta? And if you have NM set, I suggest that. His most dangerous attack is the multi-element 8-hit dragon spell of his. Use NMP + NMS and the 8 hits will usually only manage single-digit damage. Once he's used up all his MP, switch to something more offensive and lay waste to him. Without MP Bradakhan is pathetic. So another tactic might be using class-skills to drain his MP before he can do too much damage to you.

He used to have a Kethorat attack and a dragon consuming thingy that does like 150 a turn on you. The Kethorat may occasionally pause and not attack you.

Well use Wizard robe and NMS and Big clone and Guardian angel. Use sword of frost king and start doing divine magic+Algorstorm. Survive the dragon massacre, and you'll be able to win by switching to obsidian cloak and UM. Use potions if needed.

I beat him! I used a slightly different strategy though.
Weapon - Raynar's Ultimate Blade. Armor - Pyromancer's Robes. Shield - Nightmare Shield. Pet - Nerfkitten. Guest - Mogleet!
The Mogleet is the key to success. I was almost dead, and they froze him. Then it was just one more DM'd Fire Wave and he went down!
Thank god...I had only 64 HP left...

Final Challenge, maybe?
I still can't beat that challenge. It's way too hard. I think I finished 3 battles and got 1337'd in the 4th battle. Don't remember what I was fighting though.
